A few rules for this blog (has to be done)

  1. This is a fansite, not a place for advertisements.
  2. As the owner/moderator of this site, I reserve the right to delete any comment which is inappropriate in any way.
  3. We're all here for the same reason: we love to watch wildlife on live cams!
  4. If "comment spam" becomes a problem, I will have to turn on word verification; it's a pain if you're putting up multiple postings, but I'd rather not have any "bots" get into our club. I doubt they'd be interested anyway.
  5. If you have a particular link you would like to have on The List, please email me so I can add it to the template. Please make sure you go to the site you're referring, to make sure there isn't anything we really don't want to see.
  6. Three words: Freedom Of Speech. However, this does NOT mean that you can make ill-suited remarks about any person, group, race, ethnicity, sexual preference, etc (disparaging and/or sarcastic remarks about one's spouse is, of course, allowed, if it is in context). I will delete these comments (see Rule #2) and ban the author from the site.
  7. If you have comments/questions about the blog, post content, or anything else, please email me.
  8. Most importantly: HAVE FUN!!!

Bird Girl, I have a couple of posting from yesterdays' blog on eagles for you re: ospeys in Conn. I have 2 beautiful picture of Dad feeding Mom last night as she sat on the little one. I too love live-cams. My favorite is the National Zoo in Washington D.C. My sister and I have been watching EVERYDAY the growth and antics of the Giant Panda Cub since his birth July 9th 2005. Talk about withdrawal, when he has to go to China when he is 2 yrs old. My husband and I love Arizona and visit Scottsdale once or twice a year. Thanks for your inputs on the blog.

Bird Girl, I'm a novice at this here computer thing and don't know how to do that, so I just printed them to show some people. We hang out around Camel Back Mtn. area, but we love going up to Sedona and Flagstaff. When we were there this past April we finally got to go on a hot-air balloon trip and a ride into the desert. Just think it is God's country in Arizona.

I'm from Denver, Colorado, originally. Got tired of freezing my [bleep] off 9 months of the year. Don't miss having separate seasons, either! No leaves to rake up, and no snow to shovel!

I've been here going on ten years, and I love it. Flag is nice, I like Prescott and Jerome a lot too. Anything on the Rim is great, especially when I'm jonesing for REAL TREES!

We have also been to Prescott and Jerome. That's where I saw my first "dust or dirt devils".Awesome sight!

Have you been in the Valley when a haboob came along? You know -- the giant wall of dust and sand that races across Phoenix??

Yep, gets into your eyes and teeth.I'll have to remember its name. Saw some really neat pictures of one on Weatherground.com last week.
